KSM is excited to be back as a sponsor at the 2023 FTA Motor Fuels Tax Section Annual Conference this year! The conference will take place Sunday, September 17 through Wednesday, September 20 at the Rosen Plaza in Orlando, Florida.
Join Johnny Huynh, KSM’s Client Services Partner, who will be moderating a panel discussion about low-carbon fuels and their motor fuels tax implications on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 19. There will also be general session topics that include presentations from the Internal Revenue Service, Federal Highway Administration, and the American Petroleum Institute, along with many conference sessions that will focus on federal and state motor fuels tax hot topics.

You can register online to reserve your spot. The cut-off date for hotel reservations is August 23, 2023, or until the block has been sold, whichever is first. If you do not make your room reservation by August 23, 2023, all rooms will be released, and the rate will be honored if available only.

“The Uniformity Working Group provides an opportunity for Government and Industry to partner for the efficient and effective reporting and remittance of motor fuel taxes, to minimize tax evasion, and to act as an information resource to stakeholders.
The Uniformity Working Group will meet prior to the Motor Fuels Annual meeting. The meeting starts on Friday, September 15 from 8-5 and Saturday, September 16, from 9 to noon. There is no registration for this meeting.”
